Who processes your data
For anything concerning your data you can write to info@sideramea.com.
What we collect
- Your email address and password, which let you sign in.
- The birth details of the people you save: name, date, time and place. You enter them yourself, and they may concern people other than you — in which case it is up to you to make sure you may enter them.
- The dreams you write in the diary: the night, title, text, labels and how you felt on waking. The text is stored encrypted, with a key kept on the server and not in the database: whoever had the database without the key could not read it. It leaves the server only if you ask for a reading of that dream, to the model provider, together with the birth data; the resulting reading is kept like the others.
- What the service produces from those details: calculations, interpretive readings, PDF documents.
- Minimal technical data: the date of your last sign-in, and the IP address a password reset request came from.
The password itself is not stored: the database holds only a cryptographic fingerprint of it, from which the original cannot be recovered. Not even we can read it.
Why we process it
To provide the service you asked for: without date, time and place there is no astrological calculation at all. The legal basis is performance of the contract.
To keep the service running and safe — recognising sign-ins, limiting abuse, diagnosing faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working service.
We do not use your data to profile you for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not pass it to third parties for purposes of their own.
Who it is shared with
The service relies on outside providers for three things. Below is exactly what leaves, when, and where it goes.

Where data reaches a provider based outside the European Union, the transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. If you would rather your birth details never left the Union, write to us: the service can be configured with a self-hosted language model, in which case no data leaves our systems.
If you dictate a question with the microphone, your browser transcribes your voice, not SideraMea: we only receive the text. Some browsers, such as Chrome and Edge, send the audio to their maker's services to transcribe it, under that maker's terms. You can always type the question instead. Reading answers aloud uses your device's own voices and sends nothing anywhere.
Cookies
The site uses only three cookies, all of them technical. There are no analytics, profiling or third-party cookies, and none of them follows you to other sites.

That is why you will not see the usual box asking you to accept cookies: technical cookies do not require prior consent, they only require telling you which ones there are — which is what this table does. It is not an oversight. If we ever added analytics or third-party content, the box would appear and this page would say so.
You can delete or block them from your browser settings. Blocking the first one will prevent you from signing in; blocking the other one means the language goes back to the default on every visit.
How long we keep it
- Account, persone salvate, calcoli, letture e diario dei sogni: finché usi l'account. Li cancelli tu dall'area personale, e la cancellazione è immediata e definitiva. Un account in cui nessuno entra da dodici mesi viene cancellato da noi con tutto quello che contiene: trenta giorni prima e sette giorni prima ti scriviamo all'indirizzo dell'account, e per tenerlo basta entrare una volta. Gli account con un abbonamento attivo non vengono mai cancellati
- Sessioni di accesso: fino alla scadenza o all'uscita; si revocano tutte al cambio password
- Gettoni di conferma e di recupero password: restano dopo l'uso come traccia di quando sono stati spesi, e si cancellano con l'account
- Registro delle modifiche amministrative: resta anche dopo la cancellazione di un account, senza più il nome collegato: documenta chi ha toccato la configurazione del servizio
Your rights
You can ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to processing, and receive it in a format readable by another service.
You can carry out erasure yourself, immediately, from the link at the bottom of your account area: it is instant and permanent. For anything else write to info@sideramea.com; we reply within one month.
If you believe the processing of your data breaches the law, you may complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
